Check pangkal rahim

Ai, pangkal rahim check tu biasanya through TVS (transvaginal ultrasound) la, sebab need to see the cervix clearly kan. A few of my mum friends yang pregnant before, dorang semua kena check through TVS especially if ada history of short cervix or risk of preterm labour, doctor akan measure the length of the cervix to see if kena intervene or not. It's a routine scan je, tapi memang kena do TVS instead of normal abdominal scan to get accurate measurement. Best to ask your gynae directly what they'll be checking and why, sebab sometimes scan depends on your specific situation and trimester you're in.
