Honestly, if you're 5 weeks late and the test came back negative, the chances of it being positive later are quite slim, usually by that time the hormone would definitely show up already. A few of us tried testing at different times also, and if it's negative that early, it stays negative lor. Since your period is normally regular, I'd say it's better to go see your doctor and check what's causing the delay, could be stress, hormonal changes, or something else entirely, and they can give you proper answers instead of us guessing here!
