Menstruation?
Hello mommies. 3weeks pp, cs, breastfeeding. Until now bleeding pa din, pero konti lang for reference di kaya ng panty liners pero di naman ganun kadami for regular napkin. Gaano po ba katagal, nabbother ako kasi sa 1st baby ko 1week wala na bleeding tas after a month back to regular menstruation na ako.
Ay sis, totally normal yan! Three weeks pa lang kaya expected pa talaga na may bleeding, lochia ito, and it can actually last anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks after a cesarean, kaya don't worry na konti lang na naman. A few of us mums noticed it starts red, then turns brown, then pink, and eventually clear, so it's like a whole cycle siya, your body's way of healing talaga. Since you're breastfeeding din, that can actually speed things up a bit kasi tumutulong ang uterine contractions, but everyone's timeline is different, yung first baby mo bilis talaga, pero ito baka mas matagal lang, and that's completely okay. What matters is kung walang foul smell, walang huge clots, at hindi ka nag-fever, those would be signs to watch. But definitely check in with your OB din just to be sure, especially since you're comparing to your first experience kasi they know your medical history best!
