2021 Goal: Stay up-to-date with Vaccines

Hey Mommies! It’s the 3rd day of 2021. Kumpleto na ba ang Goals List mo? Don’t forget to include staying up-to-date with the vaccines of your whole family. Vaccines are important because: ✔️they strengthen our immune system. Though babies are born with immune systems that can fight most germs, there are some deadly diseases they can’t handle but can be avoided through vaccination. ✔️they promote herd immunity wherein an indirect protection from infectious disease occurs because a sufficient percentage of a population was vaccinated which reduces the likelihood of infection for the ones who lack immunity. ✔️ they prevent certain highly communicable diseases that helps avoid serious consequences not just in children but in adults as well. ✔️they reduce the risk of uncommon but life-threatening infections.
