How's your sleep?

Hi, mommas! I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant, and I just want to ask about your sleeping experiences during pregnancy, especially pagdating sa number of hours na tulog ninyo. Minsan naman nagigising ako in the middle of the night tapos ang hirap nang makabalik sa tulog. I'd love to hear your experiences. Hehe. ❤️ #5months #pregnant #worriedakoparasababyko #sleepcycle

Uy, totally normal yan at marami kaming dumaan dyan! Ang pregnancy insomnia at frequent bathroom trips ay ganyan talaga, especially ngayon na lumalaki na baby mo at pushing on your bladder, plus all the hormonal changes. What helped me was accepting na hindi ko ma-achieve ang full 8 hours straight, kaya nag-mix lang ako ng nighttime sleep + strategic naps (even 30 mins helps!), at yung broken sleep ay actually okay pa rin for baby, what matters more is the total rest you get in a day. Ang uncomfortable feeling when you're lying down is real din, so I tried different pillow positions and sleeping on my left side, which sometimes helped. Para sa worry mo: if you're generally feeling okay during the day, eating well, at baby's movements are normal, you're probably getting enough rest, pero if you start feeling exhausted or dizzy, definitely mention it sa OB mo para sure. Rest assured, maraming moms here had the same choppy sleep pa-during pregnancy at lahat ng fine naman!
