Hello mga momshie! May same case po ba samin dito na ang birth weight ni lo ko is 3000g tapos week after pagbalik sa pedia for follow up check up is naging 2800grams and then today saktong 6 weeks nya may vaccine sya nung tinimbang sya is 3100grams. Pure breastfeed po ako. Malakas po magdede si lo ko and masigla naman sya. Ano kaya possible reason? Kase nung bumalik kmi sa pedia nya na bumaba timbang nya wala naman pong binanggit or nasabi.

Ay ganyan talaga ang normal sa newborns, momshie! Initial weight loss ng 1-2 weeks is very common kahit exclusive breastfeeding, parang nag-adjust lang ang katawan nila, tapos bumalik na agad, kaya okay lang yan na bumaba to 2800g then umakyat na to 3100g by 6 weeks, parang normal newborn growth pattern. Masigla and malakas ang lo mo kaya I think good lang talaga, pero if you want peace of mind just mention it sa next pedia visit, sometimes babies take a few weeks to find their rhythm sa breastfeeding, especially if they're still learning to latch properly or if your supply was still stabilizing.
