Mga momsh Yung cervix ba natin man inside at outside? Kasi 37 weeks Ako kahapun tapos nag ie na Sila sakin Sabi ng medwife 2cm outside cervix at closed cervix inside. Anu ba ibig Sabihin ?sana may Maka sagot. Salamat mga momsh. #firs1stimemom #firsfbaby
Momsh congrats sa 37 weeks na! So basically the cervix natin ay one organ lang, pero may two parts siya, ang outside part (external os) and the inside part (internal os), kaya pwedeng mag-progress ng iba-iba ang dilation sa bawat part. What your midwife meant is na ang outside opening nyo is starting to soften and open (2cm), pero ang inside is still closed, which is actually normal pa at 37 weeks, so don't worry! A few of my mum friends experienced the same thing during their checks, at eventually both parts dilated na as labor got closer. Best to ask your OB or midwife to explain it again in detail during your next visit kasi importante mong maintindihan ang progress ng body mo going into labor, pero overall it sounds like your body is preparing na which is good.
