Preeclampsia Screening

Hello mga mommies,I’m currently 12 weeks 2days and my OB asked me to do preeclampsia screening. Every visit ko kasi sa OB around 130/80 to 139/104 yung BP ko pero pag nasa bahay ako 113/81 to 118/81 yung BP ko. Lagi ako kabado pag pupunta sa hospital kasi di ako usually nag hohospital and first time mom ako. My OB said lahat naman ng lab tests ko super ok kaya nag tataka sya. Ang mahal din kasi ng preeclampsia screening. But im running out of time. Totoo bang until 13weeks lang ito? Baka meron kyong alam na place na mas mura and did you experience the same thing? Uy, I totally get the white coat syndrome kasi first time ko rin napanic with BP readings sa hospital, mukhang ang anxiety mo mismo ay nagpapataas ng numbers mo! Since your OB said all your labs are super okay naman, that's actually a really good sign, sis. For the screening itself, I'd really suggest talking to your OB about the timing and cost options kasi baka may package deals or payment plans available, or kung may partner clinics sila na mas affordable, definitely worth asking before the deadline! A few of us tried getting screened at different facilities and the procedures are usually just ultrasound plus BP monitoring, pero as much as I'd love to give you all the details, this one is really best clarified with your doctor since preeclampsia screening protocols can vary. Hang in there, mama, it's normal to feel overwhelmed on your first pregnancy, but your proactive approach is already great!
