39 weeks mucus plug

Ay congrats mama, malapit na talaga! Yung mucus plug with a bit of blood (what we call bloody show) is usually a good sign na your body is preparing, but hindi automatic na susunod agad ang tubig, kaya don't panic kung hindi pa today or bukas pa! A few of us experienced it and ang iba nag-labor within hours, ang iba naman a few days pa, so everyone's timeline is different talaga. Best to call your OB agad para ma-check, lalo na para ma-monitor din kung okay ang baby at wala nang other concerns, they'll be able to give you a clearer picture based sa actual check-up.
