Lying in public

Ay, understandable ang concerns mo, lalo na first time! Honestly, maraming mums sa circle ko na nag-avail ng lying-in services sa public hospitals and clinics, at okay naman talaga especially kung malayo or hassle ang commute mo pauwi after birth, rest ka lang doon, may bantay, at hindi ka mag-alala sa household chores pa. The 27k sa OB mo ay may kasamang doctor's fee usually, pero depende sa public facility kung ano talaga kasama; I'd suggest magcall ka ng lying-in dito sa inyo and ask specifically what's covered, like meals, room setup, nursing support, kasi sometimes may malaki difference sa experience even if parehong free or mura. A few of us tried both, and honestly ang most important thing is na comfortable ka, may ma-guide ka sa breastfeeding, at may space para mag-recover properly, kaya compare mo talaga ang services bago mag-decide!
