Diabetics labor cs or normal?

Hi sis! Oo, totally possible ang normal delivery kahit may gestational diabetes, hindi siya automatic C-section talaga! A few of us tried, and some delivered vaginally without issues, pero honestly depende siya ng case-to-case. One of my mum friends had GDM and delivered normally, pero kailangan ng close monitoring throughout, frequent check-ups, strict blood sugar control, and the hospital team needs to keep an eye on baby's size kasi sometimes babies ng diabetic moms are bigger. The thing is, some hospitals or doctors prefer C-section para safer, but if your sugar is controlled well and baby is not too big, maraming moms na naka-manage ng normal delivery successfully. It really helps if you're strict with diet, exercise, and blood sugar management leading up to delivery, that makes a big difference sa outcome. Definitely worth sitting down with your OB or endocrinologist about what's best for your situation specifically, kasi they'll check your blood sugar levels, baby's weight estimates, and your overall health to give you the best plan.
