Mucus plug, 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant

Aww first baby, how exciting but nerve-wracking din I know! Honestly, mucus plug can look different for different moms, some describe it as thick, jelly-like, maybe with a bit of blood (pinkish or brownish), while others say parang stretchy discharge lang talaga, kaya mahirap i-identify sometimes. Since you're close na sa full term at 38 weeks plus, I'd suggest texting or calling your OB right away to describe exactly what you're seeing, kasi mas mapapabilis nila ma-assess kung it's the real thing or just heavy discharge, they'll know best and it'll give you peace of mind, sis!
