Low TSH but normanl FT3 and FT4

Question

Hi mga memsh! Baka meron din sa inyo na same scenario ng sakin, normal result for Ft3 and Ft4 pero ung TSH ko is low like 0.001. Kinakabahan ako kasi nagbasa ako ng articles about sa hpyothyrodism and effect kay baby and hindi siya maganda. Note wala akong thyroid problem pinatake lang ako ni OB just to make sure. Any advise mga memsh? Kamusta naman si baby if ganito. Nakaka worry.#1stimemom  #2ndtrimesterjourney

Aw, ang worry mo is totally valid, pero breathe lang muna! Low TSH with normal FT3 and FT4 is actually a pretty common scenario especially in pregnancy (hormones do crazy things talaga), at ang good news is your actual thyroid hormones are normal na, which is what matters most for baby, yung baby needs FT4 para sa development niya. Alam ko ang Google spiral is real (one of my mum friends almost gave herself anxiety reading about thyroid stuff), pero this definitely deserves a follow-up chat with your OB para ma-clarify kung kailangan lang monitor or kung may adjustment needed, because they'll have your full context at gusto nila makita ka ulit anyway. Ang baby mo ay nasa good hands with the OB checking this, so try not to stress too much, you're already doing the right thing by getting it checked!
