Irregular Mens after birth

Ay sis, totally normal yan! Especially since purely breastfeeding ka pa. A few of us tried tracking our periods after birth at sobrang irregular talaga, may kaibigan ko na wala pang period upto 7-8 months pa lang dahil sa exclusive breastfeeding. It's because ng prolactin hormone na nag-aaffect sa cycle mo, kaya sometimes delayed, sometimes may two months walang period, tapos suddenly may dalawang periods sa isang buwan. The good news is usually bumabalik na siya to normal after a year or so, pero depends talaga sa breastfeeding pattern mo. Walang need mag-alala kung normal lang ang bleeding, pero if it seems too heavy or unusual, worth checking in with your OB lang para peace of mind.
