So honestly, I'm not 100% sure kung pwede pa yung maternity benefit with that gap since April 2021, basta-basta kailangan mo talaga mag-check directly with SSS kasi specific ang rules nila on contributions and eligibility, at baka may updated requirements na ngayon. For the self-employed contributions though, a few of us tried na mag-register as self-employed after a long break, and it's fairly straightforward through their website or sa SSS office mismo, you'll just need to update your status and start paying the monthly premiums. I'd really suggest pumunta ka sa nearest SSS branch or mag-call sila para malaman mo agad kung qualified ka pa for maternity benefit given your situation, para hindi ka maguluhan pag malapit na ang labor!
