Aw, I totally get your concerns, mamsh! A few of us actually tried VBAC after our first CS, at honestly most of us did okay, yung success rate is quite high, around 6 out of 10 of us managed normal delivery talaga. Yes, may risk ng vacuum or forceps if labor gets slow or may complications, kaya scary talaga, pero yung marks na yan usually fade overtime na, hindi permanent, at most doctors lang gagamitin yan kung really necessary, not routine. The bigger thing is having a good OB na mag-monitor mo closely throughout, especially since may CS history ka, kaya make sure comfortable ka talaga sa doctor mo and magtanong ng lahat ng specifics about what would trigger intervention sa case mo. One of my mum friends swears na ang preparation and knowing your birth plan in advance really helped her feel less anxious. Worth discussing in detail with your OB din, ask her exactly under what conditions gagamitin ang vacuum or forceps, at what monitoring setup kayo bibigyan throughout labor, para hindi ka surprised on the day. You've got this!
