Sss maternity allocation

Hi mga ka momshie ask ko lang may idea ba kayo about sss benefit since po na voluntary ako nag babayad and if mag aapply ako ng maternity benefit at mag aallocate ako ng leave with pay sa husband ko ibabawas ba yon sa leave credit ko or dun din mismo sa makukuha ko and kung magbabawas mag kano kasi balak ko ilagay 7days leave sana sa asawa ko thanks sa sasagot please help#pleasehelp #sssbenefits #respect_post

Ay sis, okay lang ako makatulong! So based sa what I've heard from a few of us na nag-go through this, ang maternity benefit mo ay separate talaga from the paternity leave na ia-allocate mo sa husband, hindi sila kukunin from the same pool kaya walang babawas sa maternity days mo. Yung allocation na yan ay from your husband's SSS account niya mismo, so kung mag-allocate ka ng 7 days para sa kanya, yan ay galing sa benefits niya, hindi sa sayo. Pero importante na verified mo rin na updated ang contributions ninyo both, especially since voluntary ka, kasi minsan may specific requirements pa on how long you need to be contributing bago ma-approve. I'd suggest mag-inquire ka personally sa SSS office or call their hotline para sure sa exact computation, pero that's the gist ng setup. Good luck sa application, momshie!
