Cs Mom experience
Hello may meron bang ibang way para hindi maramdaman yung pag anesthesia sa likod? I have trauma kase sa first born ko nung na cs ako sakanya.

Aww, kakaalaala ko yan, spinal trauma is so real, lalo na kung nakita mo pa yung needle approach sa first CS mo. Honestly, kaya mo yung second time around with the right support! So what I've heard from other mums is na may different techniques ang doctors, like, some use a paramedian approach instead of the typical midline, which means the needle insertion point and angle are slightly different, so it can feel less intimidating for some. You could also ask your OB about epidural or combined spinal-epidural options, kasi mas gradual ang effect at you're not as aware of that initial needle moment. What really helped a friend was doing breathing exercises with her anesthesiologist before, like, she told him about her trauma, and they prepped her together so she felt more in control, which made a huge difference psychologically. I'd say chat with your doctor about your specific concerns, they can walk through the options with you and might have ways to make you feel safer this time around. You've got this, mama!
