For the Malay, the confinement is 44 days. For the Indian, confinement is 40 days. The chinese is 28 days. Which one is correct? How long should mama be quarantined for?

I see confinement as the period for the mother to rest and for her body to recover. So the best time frame will based on the necessary time required for each lady. Don't think there is really a standard per se. This is just my personal take though.
