Is it true that having a newborn to latch is a challenge? My nb is only a week old and every breastfeeding time is always a "trial and error" with him. I use the same techniques everytime and he latches only a few times.

Hi mummy! First of all, congrats!! The first few tries would likely be difficult for most as both the baby and mother are learning and adapting to breastfeeding. You can take a look at this video to see how to identify a good latch. Hope this helps! http://sg.theasianparent.com/learn-how-to-identify-a-beautiful-latch-when-breastfeeding/

How long did it take for your newborn to latch with no problems?
