Is it true that my baby’s movements slow down in late pregnancy?

Baby's movements do not slow down but move different. Early into the pregnancy, there is more room for movement. As babies get bigger and occupy more of the uterus, their movements feel less jerky and rapid but more of squirming and turning to get into a more comfortable position.
