OB Don’t check my cervix if dilated, turning 40 weeks now

Hi I’m turning 40 weeks this week. However, I’m wondering my OB doesn’t check my cervix if how many cm already? He only do ctc testing. Is it normal?

My gynae is Dr Adrian, he didn’t check mine also. My first cervix check for dilation was done by nurses at TMC. The first time he saw my V was during labour already haha. Gave birth at 40.3 weeks.

Mine also is a male OB. Maybe its their way. He will get to see it too during the delivery already 😅 Haha How’d you know you’re in labor already?
