Covid at 37 weeks
I’m currently 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I found out I’m positive for covid ): any mothers had covid when delivering? What are the implications for delivery and admission? Will my husband be able to stay with me during the delivery?

Oh no, hang in there mama, you're so close to the finish line! From what I've heard, most hospitals here will just isolate you in a separate room and the medical team will be in full PPE, so you're still well looked after throughout labour. The big concern most mums raised was about the support person policy, some were allowed one support person like their husband but he would also need to mask up and follow strict protocols, so it's really worth calling your hospital's maternity ward directly to confirm their current rules since it can change. My neighbour delivered at KKH when she was Covid positive and said the staff were really reassuring and efficient, though she did find it tiring managing symptoms on top of contractions! The good news is most babies came out perfectly healthy even when mum had Covid during delivery, so try not to worry too much. Do check with your own gynae or the hospital team though, as they'll give you the most accurate and up-to-date advice for your specific situation, you've got this!
