Confinement meal recommendations

I’m considering NouRiche or Tian Wei, anyone can recommend which is better or your experience with them recently. TIA!#DischargeAfterGivingBirth #confinementfood

My friend Janet used Tian Wei and said the variety is quite good lah, they even have Japanese-inspired dishes mixed in with the traditional Chinese confinement food, so not so jelat. But she also mentioned after about two weeks she started getting a bit bored of the food, so maybe plan to mix in some home-cooked stuff halfway through if you can. On the other hand, someone in my mum WhatsApp group tried NouRiche and was raving about how the ingredients felt really premium and the portions were generous and satisfying, like you can really tell they never cut corners. Some mums love both, a few had small gripes here and there about variety getting repetitive after a while (seems like a common confinement food problem haha). I think if you prioritise more fusion options Tian Wei is good, but if you want that hearty, high-quality traditional feel then NouRiche sounds shiok! Maybe call both and ask for a trial meal first before committing to the full package!

I used Tian Wei for my second one and honestly quite happy with it — portions were generous and the soups were really nourishing during my confinement. They were also responsive and adaptable. Haven't tried NouRiche personally so can't compare lah, but my friends who had Nouriche found their food tastier than my Tian Wei when they came to visit!

I tried shan food. More choices, non repetitive. And they can customise according to your needs. For me I wanted more vegetables
