Ultrasound Result - Placenta Anterior Grade I

Hi! I’m 21 weeks pregnant and my CAS result has “with visualization of subplacental sonolucency.” Has anyone here also had this impression on their ultrasound result? May I know what did you experience?

Hey mama, I haven't personally had that specific finding, but a few of my mum friends did have anterior placenta (which is totally normal!) and they had healthy pregnancies, anterior just means the placenta is at the front of your uterus instead of the back, so it's nothing to worry about. That subplacental sonolucency thing sounds like something your OB should explain to you directly since every ultrasound result can have little variations, and they'll know your full medical picture best, don't stress too much, but definitely ask your doctor to walk you through it the next visit so you feel more at ease!

Mommy, that's honestly something best discussed with your OB kasi they'll explain it properly in context ng your whole pregnancy, subplacental stuff can mean different things depending on other factors, and I don't want to give you wrong info na mag-worry ka pa more! I had so many confusing ultrasound terms during my pregnancies na parang reading a foreign language, haha, pero ang OB mo talaga ang best person to reassure you. Sending you all the good vibes, I'm sure it's nothing to lose sleep over, but definitely bring this up sa next checkup mo para peace of mind.
