If am I down with food poisoning, can I still breastfeed?

Yes, you should continue breastfeeding even if you are down food poisoning as there is no risk to the baby. Your milk will not transmit your illness to baby coz, it has antibodies. Also, do inform the doctor that you are breastfeeding and the medication he/she gives, should be safe for breastfeeding mothers. Take care and rest well.
