I saw my picture last year wearing a miniskirt black see through long sleeve paired with 2 high heel boots and a fancy bag ready to party and eat. I also saw the picture of me wearing a swimsuit in red in a fancy resort and pink one piece showing my bare back in a different beach resort, showing that white soft and fair skin and then I saw myself in the mirror. Uneven skin tone. Dark neck and underarm, C-section belly, stretch mark I never scratch (it happens cause our skin stretched during pregnancy) and pimples in my chess and back. Things that I never had before. But then I look at my beautiful baby boy. Tho without a father I love him so much. I don't mind these changes. Yes I feel ugly but I don't take it to heart. I know I'll get my old body back. May take months or years It doesn't matter if I already have something even more important than that beautiful past. I don't mind these as long as my baby grows up well. I hope other moms feel the same. . Don't see yourself on how other people see you. See yourself the way you see it with your own eyes. You're beautiful and gave birth to a beautiful baby. There's nothing more beautiful than looking at your baby ♥️

Totoo yan, mama, at ang galing mo talaga for having that perspective, honestly, a lot of us struggle with comparing our "before" selves to now, pero ikaw, you've already made peace with it at that's such a strength. I had the same thing with stretch marks and uneven skin tone after pregnancy, at nakaka-down talaga minsan, pero then you realize your baby's smile is worth way more than fitting into those party outfits, di ba? You're not just healing your body, you're building a whole human, and that's the real glow.
