Flat nipples
I had flat nipples so couldn't breastfeed my first baby. Now i'm pregnant with my second and wondering if there's anything i can do to prepare for breastfeeding and overcome this issue? Thanks in advance!

mom and lactation consultant here. some flat nipples can be corrected with a nipple puller, so if the flat nipples can be pulled up sufficient for baby to latch, it is possible. however best to consult a lactation consultant so they can better assess for you, there are some ways that can help counter this and result in successful breastfeeding
Read moreNo you can’t as it concerns anatomy. My lactation consultant advises pumping instead of latching. Latching will only make it painful
