Anyone done amniocentesis before? Is it safe?

I had been scheduled to amniocentesis due to they found out absent nasal bone for my baby. But my panorama test showing low risk and during 12 week scan they did say nasal bone is present. Am worried it will harm my baby am 20 weeks plus 2 now.
