Information on Dr. Wan Kai Jing (KKH)

Hi. I am currently under Dr. Samantha under private KKH. But since she’s is going to give birth soon, her colleague Dr. Wan Kai Jing will take over all her patients. I would like to ask if any of you have any experience with her? How is she like? Contemplating to change gynae as I have a clear birth plan that I want to go through during labour and I would be really disappointed if Dr. Wan wouldn’t want to go through with the plan.Your reply and input are much appreciated. I really feel you on this, it is so unsettling when your gynae changes especially when you already have a birth plan you feel strongly about. I don't have personal experience with Dr. Wan Kai Jing, but a friend of mine was also a KKH private patient and said her experience with the doctors there was generally very reassuring because they do take time to listen. My suggestion would be to request an early consultation with Dr. Wan before your next scheduled appointment, so you can walk her through your birth plan and get a feel for whether she is someone you can trust with it. That way you have enough time to make a decision about whether to stay or find another gynae without feeling rushed lah.
