Hospitalisation leave

Hi, I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and EDD on 13 Nov and my gynae started my hospital leave because my job is more strenuous and I have been experiencing pain when getting up/down or bending up/down. My company seemed very surprised by this and I am wondering if this is a norm? When did your gynae start your hospitalisation leave?

I think it’s because hospitalisation leave dont start so early for most pregnant women 🤔 I only started my hospitalisation leave at week 38! Meaning, I worked all the way till I was week 38 🥲

Hi, may I know which industry you’re working as and are you with the private or subsidised route. At 35 weeks and wondering if there’s a possibility for an early HL.

omg how did u get ur HL? :( i’m working at childcare industry and still working at 38 weeks :(

Usually private hospitals are easier on HL. I started my HL about 4 weeks before EDD.
