It's pretty easy to make: flour, salt, vegetable oil, water and food colouring. If you want your dough to last longer, add cream of tartar. But if you want to throw the dough after playtime, omit the cream of tartar. I got the recipe here: http://fun.familyeducation.com/sculpting/recipes/37040.html?page=2 Ingredients: 1 cup water 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 cup salt 1 tablespoon cream of tartar Food coloring 1 cup flour Directions Combine water, oil, salt, cream of tartar, and food colouring in a saucepan and heat until warm. Remove from heat and add flour. Stir, then knead until smooth. The cream of tartar makes this dough last 6 months or longer, so resist the temptation to omit this ingredient if you don't have it on hand. Store the dough in an airtight container or a Ziploc freezer bag.

There are 2 ways of making playdough: cooked or uncooked playdough. Personally I find cooked playdough lasts longer (although it is a bit troublesome to prepare) and uncooked on tends to harden easily. For cooked playdough, you can find recipe from here: http://www.playdoughrecipe.com/cooked-playdough-recipe/ For uncooked playdough, you can find the recipe from here: http://theimaginationtree.com/2012/04/best-ever-no-cook-play-dough-recipe.html
