APPRECIATE HIM. When he does good things like finishing his food, cheer him up and show that your proud of him, so he will think that you care and he felt appreciated. Always appreciate him(on good deeds) so that he will act polite and nicely, you know kids are naughty when they didn't get what they want. And that's your attention.
