Newborn bedtime

How do you stick to a bedtime schedule when baby feeding time varies daily? My LO is currently 8 weeks old. We wipe him down around 6plus (either before or after feed). Once he is ready to sleep and the sky turns dark we will switch on very dim yellow covelights. And by the last feed before midnight, we will switch off all lights.
