Sinopharm vaccine
Hi, has any taking sinopharm vaccine during pregnancy. Just called clinic to book appt but they said dun give for pregnant woman but MOH guideline said can take. This is so confusing. I still require two doses to complete my cycle.

Someone in my mum group mentioned the same thing, MOH does say it's generally safe for pregnant women since Sinopharm is an inactivated (killed) virus vaccine, unlike some of the mRNA ones, so there's no live virus going into your body. That said, a few clinics are still being extra cautious on their own because the original trials didn't actually include pregnant women, so some doctors prefer to err on the side of caution even if the official guidance allows it. Best thing is to ask your OB or gynae directly, since they know your pregnancy history and can advise whether to go ahead or wait, they can also help you find a clinic that's comfortable administering it to pregnant patients!
