Has anybody succeeded in relactation?
Has any mums tried to breastfeed or pump again after 1 month? Have you succeeded and how long did you take? If you are working, how did you manage?

Relactation is possible but it really depends on how your body responds, and it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks of consistent stimulation before supply builds back up. The key trade-off is that it takes a lot of commitment, frequent pumping or nursing every 2 to 3 hours, which is tough if you are back at work. If you are working, some mums manage by pumping during lunch and breaks, and nursing more frequently at night and on weekends to keep the signal going. It may be worth speaking to a lactation consultant, as they can assess your situation and give you a realistic picture of what to expect for your body specifically. It is not guaranteed, but many mums have done it lah, so it is worth trying if you feel strongly about it.
