HL at 34weeks

Hey guys, just wondering whether Prof Citra issues HL at 34weeks? Been having heart palpitations resulting to anxiety attacks and I’m a teacher 😅🥲

HL is given usually depends more on your symptoms and assessment than on how many weeks pregnant you are. I'd suggest telling her exactly how often the palpitations are happening, whether it's affecting your work, sleep, or daily activities, and if you've had any dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or feeling faint. One thing I'd say though: if the palpitations are new, frequent, or severe, do mention them to your doctor. Palpitations can happen in pregnancy, but it's worth getting checked properly. Hope you're feeling better soon, mama. 34 weeks is already the home stretch! 🥰

I'd suggest checking directly with Prof Citra's clinic or your gynae to ask about the eligibility for HL at 34 weeks, since policies can vary and your specific situation with the palpitations and anxiety might affect the timing. Most places do issue HL closer to 36-37 weeks, but given that you're a teacher with anxiety attacks happening now, it's definitely worth having that conversation with your doctor to see if they can help you earlier or suggest other support in the meantime.

I'm not sure about Prof Citra's specific practice with HL at 34 weeks, but honestly you might want to just call KKH directly and ask them, or check with your regular PD or gynae during your next visit. Heart palpitations and anxiety attacks sound really tough, especially when you're teaching, so it's definitely worth getting clarity on what support you can get right now rather than waiting.
