Pre-Baptism
Hello, FTM here. Sino po dito same case nung sa akin? May Pre-baptism seminar kasi kami, kaso wala ang Father ni baby sa araw na yun. Okay lang po ba na Mother and dalawang Ninang nalang umattend? Salamat po.
Hi mama! Nag-attend kami ng pre-baptism seminar last year, at honestly, most parishes are pretty flexible with this, a few of us had the same situation, kaya don't stress too much! The important thing is na may parent attending (you're good there!) and ideally both godparents, pero if one can't make it, usually okay lang as long as one ninang/ninong is there. Best move is to call your parish directly and ask kung pwede ba si Father attend on a different day, or if they offer online sessions, someone in my mum group mentioned their parish did video attendance options during the pandemic and kept it, so worth checking! The seminar itself is usually just 1-2 hours covering basic baptism stuff and responsibilities ng godparents, so manageable talaga. Congrats sa upcoming baptism, mama!
