Is it safe to have sex after getting implant??

Ay hindi ka mag-aalala, the implant is already effective right away kahit first day pa lang, so you're protected! A few of us moms have asked our OBs about this exact same thing, and they said the 7-day rule is more of a precaution so the insertion site doesn't get irritated, not because it won't work, pero mas safe talaga kung naghintay kayo ng konti just to let things settle. Since you na nag-sex na, you should be fine with pregnancy-wise, pero siguro best to message or call your OB lang just to put your mind at ease, lalo na kung medyo worried ka pa rin, kasi sila talaga ang makakapag-give ng clear answer based sa implant type mo!
