For stay at home working moms, how do you keep your toddlers busy while you work and no one is available to look after them?

i will take out his favourite toys or busy bags to keep my son busy. sometimes i really have no choice, i have to turn on his favourite cartoon and television. as long as i can keep him busy within an hour, i can manage to finish my work.

I had my husband buy our daughter a small desk, I put it beside my working table. I gave her papers and pens, also a real phone (with no connection). As I work, she thinks she's also working.

I give him his favorite toys and prepare his favorite drink and snacks. This way, he can be busy playing and his snacks will come handy by the time he gets hungry while mommy does her work.

this is the biggest problem I have. Sometimes I allow him playing with water, uncook pasta or rice, he is 3 y.o. so he likes making mess with those things.

I'll put him in a high chair, let him watch YouTube (nursery rhymes) on tv and a bowl of baby snacks (puffs or milk bolo) or bite pieces of bread.

Thanks mommy. Tried this before but it doesn't work with my 2yrs old :( but you gave me the idea of looking for other healthy snacks to introduce to her. Thank you!

1) toys 2) music 3) books 4) new discoveries 5) when he sleeps 6) rarely TV time but just for the variety of song and dance
