For kids being raised in Manila, is it better to grow up in a house or condo?

Raising my kids in a townhouse, i get two of both worlds (condo-like-and-house-like environment) . For me a house is still better since kids have more areas for play. Areas include a garage or garden (no matter how small it may be). Condo living is also more expensive than living in a house.
