Hey, congrats on your first baby! Honestly, the practical stuff like comfortable loose clothes for after delivery, maternity pads (the heavy flow ones, trust me), and extra underwear you don't mind throwing away are lifesavers. But the thing nobody really tells you is that the emotional side is just as overwhelming as the physical, so having someone you trust there to support you makes such a difference. I'd say chat with your gynae or midwife at KKH or wherever you're delivering about what their routine is, because every hospital is a bit different and knowing what to expect helps calm the nerves. Do you have someone lined up to be with you during labour?
