Fear of miscarriage

My first pregnancy was found with no heartbeat at 8 weeks when I did my first scan. Now I’m expecting again, nearing 8 weeks too, and my body symptoms seem to be gone. The fear is back, for history might repeat itself. I’m not sure how to deal with it if it happens again. My doctor's appointment (public) will be on either the 10th or 11th of pregnancy due to my delay in booking it. I’m feeling nervous and wonder if I should go for a one-time scanning at a private clinic before hospital just to reassure myself or to wait another 2-3weeks.

hi mummy, i’m sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage. i’m in a similar situation as you. my preferred gynae was only available on week 10 of my pregnancy. however, i called KKH and asked for the earliest possible appointment at week 6 where they assigned a random doctor to me. if possible, perhaps you could do that to ease your mind :) all the best and hoping for a smooth pregnancy for you 💕

If finances are ok, I think it's good to see a private gynae just to reassure yourself. No point worrying for another 2, 3 weeks.
