Normal Delivery with Epidural

Finally gave birth today at 1:58pm/ 38w4d/ 6.82lbs / Normal delivery. 0cm pako last Wednesday then 4am kanina nagising nako due to contraction and also notice a bloody show. Went to the ER at 8am and at 10am, 9cm na agad. Im really lucky na mabilis nangyari lahat. Super sakit kasi naglabor pako until 9cm pero once I got my epidural, everything became bearable - It’s really a life saver. I’m a FTM so i really dont know what to expect but all the pain I felt today was is worth it. Thank you Lord.

Congratulations, mama! So happy for you, 6.82lbs is such a perfect weight, and you did amazing with such a fast labor, especially as a FTM! I totally get what you mean about the epidural being a game-changer; a few of us tried going without initially and ended up getting it, and honestly, there's no prize for suffering through it when you have the option, what matters is you and baby are safe and healthy. Rest well ngayon and enjoy those first cuddles, you've earned it!
