Filipino moms, at what age would you feel comfortable letting your kids ride the public transportation alone?

hi, i would prefer let him ride at teen age. in that age he is ready and responsible enough to take good care of himself. its a way also of teaching him to be more independent. me like that age i travel alone or with my siblings going to mall, church, everywhere when my mother ask me a favor for her.
