Confinement Nanny Recommendations?

Hi all, my edd will be near cny next year and was told to be kiasu to book confinement nanny early. Im a first-time mom-to-be. Heard a lot of great (and horror) stories of nannies and am clueless of where to get one. I believe in word-of-mouth most... so will greatly appreciate if any of you can share your recommendations esp from good experiences. If anyone went for confinement centre instead of hiring a nanny, pls share too. Im open to options.

I went with a confinement centre for my first and honestly it took a lot of stress off, especially since my husband couldn't take much time off work. You pay more upfront but the food is consistent, there's always someone around if you need help at 3am, and I didn't have to worry about vetting someone's background or if they'd show up. That said, some mums I know preferred a nanny at home because it's more flexible and cheaper, and they built a real relationship with someone who knew their baby's routine. For word-of-mouth, I'd suggest asking your gynae and KKH friends directly since those connections tend to be the most vetted. If you do go the nanny route, try to meet them in person before committing and don't be shy to ask for references from recent families they've worked for.

I engaged my nanny from MOT confinement nanny - Singapore on Facebook. A lot of mommies have shared and wrote reviews for each nanny. You can choose your nanny accordingly to your preference or post on the group by following the template. Better to book early as some nanny might not work over CNY so it might be harder to find.
