Mucus plug

Aww, exciting times na! So mucus plug looks like thick, stringy discharge na parang jelly, sometimes with a bit of blood, totoo yan, but hindi automatic na magsstart agad ang labor pagkita mo siya, kaya don't panic! A few of my mum friends had their mucus plug weeks bago magdeliver, habang iba naman ay few days lang, so walang sure timeline talaga. Since you're almost at your due date na (you're 38 weeks 5 days na!), best to check with your OB para ma-confirm kung talagang mucus plug yan at kung ano na ang status ng cervix mo, they'll give you better idea kung malapit na talaga or kailangan pang maghintay. In the meantime, prepare na your hospital bag at stay calm, mama, your body knows what to do!
