Premature baby 29 weeks

Congratulations on your little one, and sending you so much strength during this time, a 29-weeker is truly a little fighter, and with good NICU care, the chances are very encouraging. Do spend as much time as you can by your baby's side in the NICU, and even when you cannot hold her yet, gentle touch really does matter for her development and for your bond too. Kangaroo care and skin-to-skin contact when the team gives the green light, plus starting to express breast milk early, are two things I would gently encourage you to prioritise, I have a cousin who went through something similar, and she said pumping consistently from the very beginning made such a difference for her supply later on. With the GBS positive status, the medical team will monitor your baby closely for any signs of infection, so please do not hesitate to ask the neonatologist or paediatrician any questions, no matter how small they may seem.
