Do you have any tips on how to spice up (literally and figuratively) a classic Menudo recipe?

They say mixing all-purpose cream gives a twist on any ordinary recipe. I think this can be considered, especially if your kids love the creamy kind of ulam. It can make an ordinary menudo more palatable for kiddos.
