Dads, what would you honestly feel and do if you found out your son prefers another gender?

I'd support him and love him no matter what. A person's gender is just one of the many facets that comprise his character and personality, like their skin color and interests. Parents should focus on raising happy, healthy, responsible, and accepting human beings. A person's sexual identity isn't and should never be their defining trait.
